Talbot Middle School staff, parents/guardians, and the local community form a partnership that creates a positive learning environment. Students from all ethnic and economic backgrounds will achieve academic success in all disciplines with a focused emphasis on Reading and Writing literacy and Math literacy.

All Talbot students will achieve academic success through comprehension of material, accessing prior knowledge, making connections, applying appropriate resource, acquired knowledge, and problem solving skills.

Talbot students will be prepared to successfully enter and navigate through the high school of their choice with a goal toward the future.

The Talbot community will practice mutual respect for all students, parents, and staff by exercising  responsible and ethical social and academic decisions that embrace differences of learning style and culture.
